is for high school Girls interested in maximizing
their potential to play in a college softball program.

Campers will be instructed in technical drills, live game situations, conditioning drills, and mental aspects of the game to demonstrate to players what to expect in a collegiate softball program. Players will rotate through skill stations including: hitting, bunting, fielding, throwing, infield, outfield, catching, pitching, base running, and conditioning. Campers will hear from a coaching panel on eligibility requirements, college life, and college softball. All drills, instructions and play will be conducted by participating college coaches. Campers will also participate in live controlled scrimmages, and in the cage challenge which allows the coaches to observe pitchers, catchers & hitters in an intense view session. Nationally noted biomechanist Dr. Sherry Werner will work with pitchers in extensive sessions on pitcher training and bio mechanics of safe and efficient pitching mechanics. A voluntary Sunday morning Fellowship of Christian Athletes worship will be conducted by numerous college coaches.

Hi 2010 CSC Campers,
We are excited to announce details for the 2011 College Softball Camp, January 8-9. We hope your softball plans include attending this year.
2011 Date
You may notice, the dates for the camp are a week later than the three previous years of this camp. The 2010-20011 NCAA softball recruiting calendar has January 1 listed as a quite period. That then forces us to move to the next weekend. In the past, that may have been a problem for
Registration
Registration is now open. The camp flyer, application, and medical release are attached to this note. You can also download these files from the camp website: www.collegesoftballcamp.com There is also a short camp video on the website, an ideal way for your friends to see quickly what the camp looks like.
Marketing
Registration has opened a full two months earlier than years past. Last year, we had close to 250 campers. The camp has sold out in advance all three years, and based on the registrations already received, plus a big increase of whole teams registering, we expect it to sell out again. College Coach Staff

Schedule
A detailed camp schedule for both Saturday and Sunday will be published in November. The camp will start earlier on Saturday, providing campers with a busy 17 hours over two days spent with the coach staff. We will be using six fields at the Coquille Complex, the Sandlot indoor batting facility, and the indoor arena. A school bus will be on hand to assist with transportation down the street.
Format
Saturday will focus on skills instruction from the camp staff. Sunday, the college coaches will supervisor a controlled scrimmage that will feature them hitting infield/outfield with runners, as well as live hitting and fielding during game action.
Pitching
CSC is excited to announce that nationally noted biomechanist Dr. Sherry Werner will be on the camp staff this year to work with pitchers on training and bio mechanics of safe and efficient pitching mechanics. Watch the website in the next month for details about this segment of the camp.
Coach Clinic
Plans are to return the free coach clinic utilizing the coaches on the camp staff for any high school, travel, and recreational softball coach. Details will be posted on the website in November with the day, time, and agenda.
Sunday Worship
A number of the college coaches have asked for a time slot and location to conduct a voluntary Fellowship of Christian Athletes worship early on Sunday. Watch for details in the coming months.
